THE DUBUQUE DREAM CENTER ACADEMY (DDCA)

ADMISSION PROCESS

The Dubuque Dream Center Academy follows the Iowa Code as it pertains to kindergarten enrollment.

Iowa Code requires that a child be at least 5 years of age by September 15 of the year he/she is to be enrolled in transitional kindergarten or kindergarten.

Step-by-Step | Open Registration: 2024-2025

Admission Process

The registration process for new enrollments:

  • Dream Center Academy Marketing + Information.
  • Register online.
  • Apply for Financial Aid through ESAs.
  • Student and parent(s) attend DDCA on-site registration/orientation.
  • Student/Parent completes DDCA Student Academic Profile Assessment and Questionnaire.
  • According to student interest in a DDCA Activity (which supports student motivation), individualized student goals and outcomes are established by the teacher, parent, and student.
  • Student fee payment source is determined and processed: 1/ESA, STO, CCA, Student Sponsor, or 2/parent direct-pay tuition.
  • Student records/transcripts from previous school (if applicable).
  • Parent agrees to Parent Partnership Pledge and Handbook.
